series 8×4 vol.1
tenugui exhibition

2007/01/30
From January 30 until Feburary 25, an interesting exhibition would be held. 8 creators try to make Japanese "tenugui," with traditional way. Originally, "tenugui" spread among people and became to popular by "kabuki," and it was one of "iki" to have "tenugui" for them. "Iki" means "cool" in Japanese, you know.

It's fun to see and find out how different and unique they are, which the 8 creators designed. You can see "tenugui" with traditional design, so it might be a chance.

And this "series '8×4'" will be continued until the end of May. So if you are interested in this series, please contact to the committee.
