One sheet
2007/04/20

No matter how light and thin they may be, walls can be made of a sheet if they work as an insulating partition. Or rather, the whole house can be made of a sheet. The origin of nomads’ houses was tents made, of course, of sheets of cloth.
In short, what we call furniture and architecture is something that holds people, holds things, holds divided spaces etc. Clothes can also made of one sheet of cloth, which should make their wearers look discreet and beautiful.
The sofa introduced by Moroso is like ‘Juni-hitoe’, a traditional Japanese kimono made up of several layers of colorful cloths. The plastic chair and the table are also made of sheets of cloth with holes on them.
