T-FRAME by K-SHOP

"Three-dimensional swastika"

A member is connected to another at a right angle to form the letter T. This structure was created by extending the relationship between the members.
Designer KUROKAWA calls it “three-dimensional swastika.” As long as this structural relationship is maintained, anything can be made.

"Archetypical structure using standard parts"

T-FRAME is a structural system that can be used to create many types of furniture. The system only consists of a number of linear aluminum parts similarly prepared with punched and tapped holes, one type of bolts, and one type of end caps. For this edition, we have limited the line to a shelf and a wagon. The simple composition is suggestive of the framework of Japanese architecture.
