This table offers a bare-minimum function - a simple tabletop. You can't even place your elbow on it. Placed next to a chair, it is a tool that only provides a bit of usefulness in your everyday life.

Designer KUROKAWA has prepared some simple, optional items to go with this tool. One is a hidden shelf that can be attached underneath the tabletop. Place it next to a sofa in a living room, and you will have a convenient private table onto which you could put an ashtray or a coffee cup, or you could place a remote control under it to keep it out of the way. It would also be perfect place for newspapers, magazines, or letters.
Another optional item is a tray that could act as a tabletop on top of a tabletop. You can use it like a tray, placing a drink such as a coffee on it to bring it in from the kitchen. Place it on the table, and it transforms into another tabletop.
